I know cooler is better but do you guys have a range you like to keep in or anything?

My problem is that with my kids, pets, living arrangements, etc, I HAVE to keep my computer in one of those isolated little desk cubby things so I know my airflow is at least a little restricted.

According to all of my specs, my desired temp is 40c and I generally run 39c to 44c.

Not to overstate the obvious, but cooler is better. Check out these crazies cooling their stuff with liquid nitro:

Anyway, those temps sound ok to me. If at all possible, I would try and vent that cubby in some fashion. Maybe cut a couple 2" exhaust holes in the sides?

I used a computer desk a long time ago and if you don't mind the noise, you can put fans in the desk. Radioshack makes a 5 inch metal fan that moves a lot of air for expense and noise level. You can't buy it in their stores, you have to get it from their catalogs or website. It's designed for high heat large electronics.
2 in a desk, strategically placed, dropped my temps years ago.
