===Other Stores in Australia===

-------------------------------------

For models and paint check out Hobbyco (http://www.hobbyco.com.au/). With stores in the city and at Rhodes and Macarthur Square.

-------------------------------------

If you are looking for Acrylic, and mesh. Try looking for industrial suppliers in your area (Try the yellow pages).

Some trophy stores use Acrylic and you may be able to get some off them.

-------------------------------------

Bunnings Warehouse sells some of this material from time to time

(Australia Wide)

-------------------------------------

If are looking for paint either try your local hobby stores such as Hobby Co http://www.hobbyco.com.au/ which has three stores in Sydney.

(Ships Australia Wide, Three stores in Sydney)

If you want a large amount of paint. Try automotive stores (Yellow Pages Time).

-------------------------------------

You can buy perspex from your local glazier. (Yellow Pages)
(From Bucko)

-------------------------------------

===International Stores===

Not a lot of modding stores overseas ship to Australia.

One store which has good prices and ships internationally including Australia. Is Performance PC's http://www.performance-pcs.com. They have one of the largest range of modding supplies in the world even! I have bought from them. There shipping prices are good value to.

(Ship to Australia)

A large number of international ebay sellers are selling all mod ware to Australia. Just remember you are dealing with individuals not companies so don't buy mod ware from Honest Yuri who has a feedback of 1. http://www.ebay.com.au. Also to pay people for your goods you will need to use paypal http://www.paypal.com to pay people securely.

Hope this helps any fellow Australian modders in there quest to make their case a work of art.

PC Case Gear and DSE have failed me for the last time. They're annoying to buy from and their customer service stinks more than poo on a stick.

Yeah DSE sucks but I have never had a problem with PC Case Gear.

PC Case Gear rocks! Damn fast shipping and prompt emails. I'll be buying from them again.

They sent me a product that was faulty OUT OF THE BOX, wrapped it up in god knows what black plastic rubish bag which got my front panel all dirty and then made me pay to ship it to them so they could replace their faults. On top of that they have a really crappy system where you send them an email telling them the problem, they'll send you a form asking you to tell them the problem, you send the form back by Fax or post cos they won't listen to you unless you put it on their stupid form, and it takes them 2 weeks to give you a reference number so you can get it replaced. I'm sorry but that's what I call crappy service!!

They are based in Victoria.

Although MSY isn't for modding supplies, you always need parts to go in your mod.

For everything cheap (CPU, GPU, monitor etc) check out www.msy.com.au

Chilled PC is also great for your water cooling needs (they stock EK ): www.chilledpc.com.au
They also sell some cases such as the CM Stackers and the Lian Li ArmorSuits.

PC Case Gear can be good, they got tons of stock but I have had problems with them. When I put in my last order they sold off the stock of my order just because I wanted to change an item that I ordered by accident. First they told me they had shipped my order than 2 weeks later they said they had run out of stock after I should have received my item.

Give me a bit I will update the master list.

MSY is great but you get what you pay for so they have little supply and no customer service.

I also forgot to add www.staticice.com.au, this is a great site. You basically type in what you are looking for and it will show you the 20 cheapest prices for that item (that the site knows of) Australia wide. You can even make the search more specific by restricting the search to a single state and by adding more info on the item.

EDIT: Make sure you click on the price not the URL, the URL takes you to the site and you have to look for the product. In most cases clicking the price will take you to the product.

Here's what I've found useful so far in my travels around Adelaide.

MSY - Cheaper than every wholesaler we deal with at work but have a limited range. If they have what your after then they will be hard to beat for price!

Bunnings - For all your aluminium needs.

Jaycar - All sorts of nicknacks such as feet, tubing, led's, switches etc... Not the cheapest of places mind you.

Here is one which I can't believe hasn't been added yet.

GAM Mods (www.gammods.com.au) - If you are looking for anything water cooling related then this is where you gotta go. They also have a huge selection of cable sleeve and bulgin switches and Greig stocks a lot of Bill Owen's goodies :D.

Depending where you are located I'm sure the community would be able to recommend some suitable stores.

Also thought I'd like to add www.speedyitservices.com.au. The only stockist of EK gear in South Australia and as far as I am aware the only stockist of Crucial gear in Australia (items currently not on website though).

What made you decide to unlock the thread about Australian Modding Supplies, and have you explored the new updates provided by the community members regarding additional suppliers like Gammods and their range of products, including items from MNPCTECH and watercooling components?
