First off Hello I've lurked around a bit and decided to see if somebody/s might have suggestions, ideas, etc.
My mother tried her best (And all be it did a freakin good job for a person that does not know much about computers) And bought me my first OEM bought computer in many many years. I cant complain its a Dell Intel Duo 3600, 2 Gigs of ram, Gforce 7950 GX2, Not bad for a mother that still thinks I am the tech Support. She was so proud of herself that there is no what I can send it back and build my own.
So heres the deal. Since I can't build my own system, I can Mod the crap of it. So the Idea. Get a plan case (Think early 90 off white) No side vents or fans, Cut the sides open and panel that baby (I have experince in this so not worried on that part) watercool it (Looks and performance... Ok Looks more than anything.) But I am having problems finding a a Full size plain BTX case. What I am wondering since I am not going to be using the the BTX's cooling system. (I do think it is a better over all design over ATX. Makes more since but that is another thread, maybe a different Site) Does any have any experience in mounting a BTX Mobo into a ATX case. As far as I can tell might have to drill some wholes in the Mobo backplate. And rework the Backplate of the case. (Not really hard.) So any Suggestions? Thanks in advance

welcome....

coolermaster had a atx-btx case, not shure of there is a full btx case on the market right now, and if there is, is prob a lot of $$$

my 0.02$ says you would better off buyng an ATX case and mod it, go fot a Lian Li, the cleansest cases in my book
