For those of you who own 3D Studio MAX or are planning on acquiring it through legal means and are still a little green under the bark, I just happened to stumble across this free online video guide.
http://www.huntfor.com/3d/tutorials.htm
The guide is very simple and very easy to understand. Watching these video guides almost makes me feel smarter than guide himself because of how easy they are to follow and understand. It is a _very_ "noob" friendly guide. This websites 3D Studio Max guide includes;
Introduction to 3D Studio MAX
Getting Started with 3D Studio MAX
Working With 3D Objects in 3D Studio MAX
And even a list of "other" tutorials at the bottom of the page. Most likely for "advanced" users.
The guides themselves might be a bit on the boring side, but I am learning pretty fast which is what counts the most! Ah, it almost brings back memories of learning programs in high school. :)
*It also just occurred to me that I posted in the Chatterbox where this does not belong. Ooops lol
