Yes, i have been experiencing this problem after i built my PC.

It DOES start when i take everything out and put back in.
It DÓESN'T start when i shut it and try to put back on.

What could be the problem?

After it has been shut down, however, it will start after the ATX12V cables have been took out, but the screen is blackened.

The specs are:

PSU: Zalman ZM460APS
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E6400
GPU: Gainward GeForce 7900GS 512mb
RAM: Corsair valueselect 1 gb @ 667 MHz
MOBO: Gigabyte 965PDS4
HDD: Maxtor 250 GB

My guess is that the PSU wont simply give enough power.

I need help with this problem, my RMA will expire in 5 days.

have the PSU replaced as a first start. To be safe, RMA the motherboard as well.

I tried to replace the PSU, but still experienced the problem.

Then i replaced the mobo aswell (DFI infinity, from the living room comp)

And still the problem. Then, I started to read all the manuals and stuff, and in the GFX card manual, found the interesting thing: "Computer doesn't boot after it has been shut" And the answer was "Your mobo or/and PSU might be broken. However, it might also be that your graphics card is not attached well"

Well, yes it was not attached well, because the extension port's cover was twisted, propably during packing it. I immediately twisted it back with a clamp, re attached the GFX card (to the original setup) and it works!!

I was very afraid that the mobo and/or PSU is broken, luckily the problem was not in the hardware, but the packing job.

Thanks for your time.

well whats an "extension port"? The first rule of building a PC is to make sure all the parts are seated well--its a common mistake and we've all done it.

and the problem wasnt the packing job, it was the builder ;)
