Are you planning on it being a MC PC as well? Because thats a pretty high end machine if that is your goal. Anyway, it would want to be a big radio, your going to need a lot of space for all that hardware, especially when you take into consideration cooling. Perhaps you could use the front of the radio as a facia and then build the computer into a sff box behind it?

Good luck, I'll be looking forward to seeing what you work out.

I think its one of those really old crystal radio's that look like a jukebox.

Hassle, I've done a case mod like that. I've got two Athlon 1900+ headless windows machines in there as compute servers for my home network. It's a pretty fun case, and as you mention there's a TON of room inside for a lot of gear.

Mine is in an old Philco cabinet which looks like this one...

I replaced the radio dial area on the top with the dual control panels, including power/reset buttons and power light. I wired up a pair of old dc milliamp meters to the disk drive LED leads, so that the meter needles pulse and twitch with disk activity. This kind of meter...

Also, I have a single Cooler Master Aerogate II (pic below) mounted in the same front panel, with 2 of the temp leads on one computer, the other two on the other.

I don't have any pics of the case mod online right now, but will see if I can dig some up.
