I've come across 2 really cool little software Modbin/Modbin6 (http://www.biosmods.com/download.php)

is used to modify the Award Modular bios.
It can be used to modify the setup screen of your bios, giving you the opportunity to unhide options which the motherboard manufacturer has hidden.
The acpi option for instance can be modded here.
Just run: modbin6.exe biosfile.bin or modbin6.exe or just check this picture.
I use modbin6 version 1.00.38 for my mods.
This program works under DOS & Win9x.

It said that you can mod your BIOS with it. On my side I will try to unlock my COMPAQ Bios to be able to OC it a bit,

Anyone have comments, testimony about this?

First time I've heard about it. Sounds awesome for manufactured computers.

I figured out I have to save my current Bios, unfortunatly, I cant find the Bios on the web (ASUS A8N-LA) so I have to save it to a floppy (link (http://www.overclockers.com/tips120/index04.asp)) Then try to find the program line that lock the CPU and remove it. And finally cross my fingers for it work. Anyway I'll keep you updated on how it goes as soon as I find a floppy drive...
