I'd go for the Dell over the other. Simply becasue Dell is a brand generally associated with good quality products. And i've heard their monitors are bloody good anyway ;)

Yes dell is the better and more branded screen but have you added on the cost of delivery it can be up to 100 pounds dont know what that is in dollers depends how much you want to spend

Well, I guess you already decided. But I just want to add that the Dell monitor supports HDCP, which is a plus. Also, the Dell has a 3 year warranty as opposed to the 30 day replacement warranty that Newegg has for that Chimei monitor.

Dell all the way, its a good thing that you chose that one.

ive heard rumours that the dell monitors tend to fail a lot more that others. that said, my friend has had a dell for quite a while now and his monitor is still going fine.
Going with the rest, chose Dell.
By the way, those are some damn nice prices.
For ~$300 you can get a 19" here.

Glad you went with the Dell, was just going to say that the Chimei isn't worth what you pay for it. Lots of people have been having problems with it...

Dude,
Tell us how it is. I think dell makes good stuff. It's just we all know how to make computers cheaper and better than them. But monitors are still a manufacturer thing, like laptops.
That thing looks awesome. I'm gonna go turn my couch cushions over to look and see if I can find some more money. I just built my new rig. I'm brizzzokke now at least for a while. All you married folk know that just means no more play money for a little while. Not really broke. I mean c'mon Ramen rocks.
