Making a XBOX Backup Disc?

I didn't know you could make backups for your XBOX games! ...legally! Well of course its legal, you own the game. So long as you don't sell it or hand it out or anything like that. But still, pretty dang cool. But how do you do it?

I have THIS (http://www.memorex.com/html/products_detail.php?section=3&CID=11&SID=15&PID=872&FID=115&opento=11) cd/dvd drive and THIS (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alcohol_120%25) burning program. I'm guessing only some drives and some programs will allow you to do this so thats why I listed what I have. lol Save you some time just in case I don't have a computer thats compatible to burn backups.

You can't do it Normal discs are burnt from the outside in and XBOX dvds are burnt the other way round.

I thought I heard about someone making a copy of one of their Xbox games though? Is there another way to do it or what? ...hmmm, maybe it was a hoax then?

I guess I'll try to find something on google about whether its possible or not or how you do it or whatever.

Hmmm... well I found this but it says I need an Xbox Mod Chip. Which I am somewhat familiar with, but I guess I read wrong about making copies of your xbox games... thats a bummer. lol nothing is easy is it?

wait wait... my old youth pastor had burned xbox games that we played on a xbox. I am almost certain he didn't have mod chip though?? Am I missing something here or is it just that I am losing my touch... lol

Thats what I was worried about, but every where I have been that has mentioned making copies of YOUR games says it is perfectly legal. ...but as I am quickly learning there are a heck of alot of steps and money involved. Like mod chips, cables, software, hardware. PSH! Its an Xbox man... if I bust another game I'll just go buy it for $2.99 at a pwn shop. lol

Thats too bad that I couldn't make copies though... I had my hopes up cuz I just lost another game a couple hours ago. lol See? There is a reason why your parents tell you to keep things nice and orderly and not laying around on the floor waiting to be stepped on. ><
