This is an amazing program that adds an apple like program bar to windows that you can drag and drop icons into. I saw this in the what program is that thread and did some research I have got rid off all the icons on my desktop and just have it.
Get it here

Has anyone used Object Desktop? They have a taskbar like this, and I was wondering what people thought about each one.
Good find, I like the one I have--it's very useful...I used to put everything on the quick Launch bar in Windows, but I find this works so much better.

I have been using a one called Y'zdock for a while. Y'zdock was discontinued due to an C&D from Apple. How about a screenshot. There site doesn't have a lot of info on it.

It also does the trick where when you mouse over it the icons expand.

If you could get rid of that trash can your desktop would be completely clutter free... I always wanted to get rid of the trash can : (.
Edit: Forgot to say... I love your background / Backgrounds (im assuming its a screen shot from a dual monitor setup?)

If your interested in getting rid of that trash can icon i found out how to do it.
Its actually pretty simple.
Right click on your desktop, go to were it says "arrange icons by", and de-select the option that says "show desktop items"
I dont know if there might be any unwanted consequences or not, but i tested it on my GF's PC real quick and you will have to reset your background (I guess it reverts to default or something when you get rid of the icons)
Heres the link were i found the information.

The link goes over a bunch of ways to clean up your desktop and offers a couple of ways to still make all of your stuff easily to find. I was only really interested in it because it shows how to remove all icons. Its towards the bottom of the page.

I use Object Dock. I have also used Moby dock. Both are very good programs. Some computers act funny when you install one dock program, it is good to try a few.
