Are they not wireless? I believe you can get USB Sensors that pick those up. If you mean a wired one, i'd guess they run on a similar system to the original, so its probably worth a try.

heh why mod a new xbox 360 controller??? or even buy one for that matter heh....just use a old xbox controller heh cheaper (i picked mine up for $7 canadian) and modded it with a spare USB cable extender

buy a wireless xbox controller and do the same mod with only the receiver end.

I could have swore i read that microsoft put out an adapter that lets you use any wireless xbox 360 accessory on the PC (Controller, headset, stearing wheel).

On top of that all wired 360 controllers are already compatable with pc, its just a matter of plugging it in via usb and downloading the driver.

Microsoft it seems to be making a push so that all of their accessories work on the windows platform, I guess its to promote their whole "gaming on windows" thing.

I don't think it will work. I've tried it :p. It works great with a PC though. I have my wireless regular xbox controller and Halo for the PC. Combine them to get this...

Ohhhh i think i misunderstood the question. Do you mean that you want to make an xbox controller compatable with the 360?

Anyways, any way you meant it:

1: Using this mod, you cannot hook up a regular xbox controller to the 360, simply because the 360 does not have the drivers to run them

2: Using this mod you can't hook up a 360 wireless controller to the PC, even though the controller has a USB plug. The USB plug is only for the power of the device,and when you are using something like the Play and charge kit, the Xbox 360 is still using the controller wirelessly.
