I have an old small sized Xeon strobe, that runs off of 2 1.5 batteries. I wanted to know if I were to put this into my case, would there be any sort of interference with the HDD, that may corrupt the data?

Is it a Led based Xeon Strobe, or a standard one? I ask cause the standards ones generates a lot of heat, wich is bad for the computer, I dont see any intererences with the HDD, but heat might be a problem

hmm... i think i know what you're trying to say, and it may be possible to generate spikes in your psu, not directly in your hdd.. this will affect every thing.. why? when the strobe charges and discharges it creates spekes in power draw.. so.. i'm not sure.. better ask around some more..

Well, It is not connected to the PSU or the computer in anyway....
