Sorry for being such a dumbass about computers, but if i don't ask i'll never know. I will continue to keep posting in this thread as a usually don't have much time on the computer due to some difficulties. ANYWAYS I live in Ontario, Canada and was wondering a couple of things before I start fiddling around with my computer.
- I need a good place to shop for computer mod based products. Somewhere were they got some really nice PC coolers and possibly some supplies to begin modding myself.
- Some possible good reading ( doesn't matter if it's 15 pages of text, I don't mind i just wanna learn. ) on modding.
- To keep in mind that I live in Canada so no American-only sites. ( at least for purchasing )
The only reason I ask about supplies is that my father isn't a "handy man" so all we really have are a few necessities
So yea, i forgot about half the stuff I wanted to write but you get the general idea. I'll continue looking around the forum for guides etc.

Welcome. For mod reading, check out Paul Capello's (CrimsonSky) book (he owns the joint).

Also check out Aero's Guides to modding, which are a great place to start. After that, head over to the worklogs, it's the fastest way to learn.

For computers parts, look for:
ncix.com (http://www.ncix.com)
vibecomputers.com (http://www.vibecomputers.com)
microbytes.com (http://www.microbytes.com)
bigfootcomputers.com (http://www.bigfootcomputers.com)
mutepc.com (http://www.mutepc.com)
tigerdirect.ca (http://www.tigerdirect.ca)
My first choice is NCIX, but Bigfoot as a lot of interesting modding components. Microbytes, is not bad (there's one in Ontario) Vibe has good prices. And mute...well... they had better days. And tigerdirect: they have lot of stocks, but prices are high and they have only common parts...

Thanks everyone with the input! I might be buying a fairly stock case then remodeling it in the way that i choose. I was also thinking of buying the mag but wasn't completely sure it would be a great idea.
I've already read up on one the guides posted on this forum about plexi and about tools so yea i'm getting on track ;P.
Also i already sorta have an idea for a computer. And this problem has always hit me dead on. Most mods are in blue :/ i want something ( or somewhere ) i can get parts ( Liquid coolant, wire looms ) in red. If these are possible to simply make/purchase please let me know as I like red alot over the standard blue and green is neutral to me :)
_ and also looking for good cooling that is possibly interior? Like a drive bay.

Ok another stupid question ( they'll keep coming haha ) I have thinking of getting Zalman water blocks but in the description
*This VGA water block is a component for water cooling systems for CPUs and cannot be used independently. It must be used with a water cooling system such as ZALMAN's Reserator 1 Water Cooling System.
Does this mean that I can't use for example a reservoir of a different company? I was planning on getting WB's from Zalman but using an internal reservoir. If this doesn't work I'll be a bit disappointed.

no :) they mean you have to use some form of water cooling, as the water-block itself can't cool the cpu or any other part by itself.. to put it differently, you have to be water cooling :) as long as you have a water loop and the right adapters (or same tubing size), you can use it :)
