my computer is MESSED UP

well, i do not know if it is my computer or my keyboard, could be my usb's i do not know.

heres what happened.

i was playing bf2142 last night and one of my keys kept sticking i kept moving back and to the left when i wasnt even pressing them, and when i tried to type my keyboard is messed up it came out sorta like this a;lskjf1kl;2;32adf\f\[add\a , so i was like wtf m8(BREAKING NEWS, MY COMPUTER JUST LOGGED ME OFF(beacuse of this situation)) cool, so anyway , i alt tabbed and closed the program, then some programs started running like aim and such and it was just constantly typing in a pw, 'run' opened and the same thing happend mostly the letters A and J and whenever i tried to press backsapce '/' came up. and everytime i hit 'm' it closed down a program

SO heres what i did, i ran a virus scan overnight and unplugged my keyboard, everything was fine, no viruses, today i get home from school, plug it in, and it works fine, so i thought it was just kinda like a one time thing. then about 10 minutes ago i was scrimming in CSS and the same thing happend , kept going back and to the left, closed the program .. all this random sh!t kept opening! bahhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!! you get the idea , so i restarted and changed the usb port and now it is still kind of doing it.

so any suggestions of what to do? or anyone have the same problem before? or has anyone heard of a virus that does this??

This is so messed up. I am gonna call virus. Maybe try and reinstall the device drivers for you keyboard or try a different one.

I had an almost exact situation on my system and it _was_ a virus that was not detected by norton/symantec. Try one of the free scanners like adaware (lavasoft.com) or any other _reputable_ one.

ok ill check those ones out, its weird because it only does it when my keybaord is plugged in.. i use avg right now and that didnt detect it so ill try what you reccomended me next

Yes, that one is the one I use most at home (plus others when necessary). It is a good first line of detection and is free. Some others are better at detecting root kits and trojans (anyone?).

ok ill try all those out, this is the worst time to be having this happen i have like 5 projects due tomarrow all of wich have to be done on photoshop so. ill be up all night haha

Also a simple check would to be plugging in a different keyboard. Did you get any soda on that thing while fraggin' a Titan?

haha nawww i didnt spill anything on it ,i havent tried any others cuz i dont have anymore usb keybaords here, and the keyboard is only 6 months old, saitek eclipse, theres no software for it, i think im gona get a new keybaord for the hell of it anyway, maybe a g15 or somthing

Another suggestion... you might want to scan in safe mode. This is better because it only loads with the bare minimum to run windows, and any spyware/virus that you might be infected with doesn't load.

i finished the scan , now how do i tell what is a virus and what isnt? what do i do how do i get rid of them haha idk what to do ive never used this program

2 options from that screen, click next, or right click on the objects, then click select all, and then click next. It's safe to assume that anything Ad Aware finds needs to be dispatched with extreme predjudice (deleted). Also, Ad Aware only scans for spyware. You want to make sure you do a full virus scan (looks like you have AVG installed).

The screen is really useful if you have fraps or xfire and is great for keeping track of time during those extended play sessions. If you want to get one cheap (don't worry its legit) at this site. I would think the USB connector at the end shorted between either the red and white or green and black, or green and white. Just check for metal crap between the contacts (4 strips)

so i ran avast and it found two things i moved them to the vault and i think everything is working fine now , but well see as time goes on if it starts acting up again, if so then im gona get a new keybaord and usb's or somthing thanks for the help though guys

If you think it could still be a virus use NOD32, it finds anything even new undiscovered stuff because its smart.
