I have this case:
http://www.sachsreport.com/Asus%20Vento%203600%20pc%20case%20kicks%20ass%20ga mer%20%20case%20mod%20overclock%20overclocker%20co ol%20design%20space%20age.jpg
And I wanted to make a mode themed like Char Aznable's Zaku (am a big gundam fan)

Suggestions?

I always thought that this case looked liked something from space (like a space ship ) so why do actually (in a sence) glue figurines inside and outside, mod the outside somehow to look like some ship from the show and basically make into a still life of some scene ( like a intense fighting scene ) from the show.
( lol. Sry if this suggestion seems a little out there, but I still have images of models in my head from the hobby shop I had window shopped at today. lol)

Cool! Are there any suggestions for things besides just gluing the figs on? (Though building a window for an MS battle scene does sound great)

are you looking to make the case look like a ship or the fig itself?

What about sculpting a large model of the head which could go on the red front peice (I have no idea how the front of the case opens). You could have the two pipes from the side of his head go back into the side of the case and a few diffused red leds for the 'eye'. Depending on how the front opens, you could move the cd/dvd down and then have a little diorama of the inside of the cockpit with the pilot and stuff. Anyway, inside the case, theme it like the internals of the robot. For the sides you could put a large window but have all these wires and pipes against it on the inside, so you can just see through the gaps to the pc. This would be a themed case, not a replica case but still instantly recognisable to the robot.

Beware my mad Photoshop Skillz Boy!

Probably could get that colour a bit closer to the original without too much effort. This would be a big project and it would take ages to do right. Good luck! I'll look forward to seeing it :).

I was thinking the exact same thing with the head, but i'd have it down the bottom, as the structure suits it more... unless you wanted to make the eye of the face the CD drive.

I think the face would be more suited to the bottom and then u could have the top half of the case in a darker colour.

Oh, and u'll definately have to use those hoses on the model somehow... Use it as a cover for your cables or make WC pipes like it.

and here I thought the case looked more like the boot of the gundam figure ..

I would agree with Xato and move the head lower than the mad Photoshop skills of temmenk showed.

I think you read it wrong. It is a question about making a case like the mobile suit. I assume that is what they call the robot dude

"mobile suit" case...
Eitherway, I think this case could turn out alright, depending on how much work is put into it.
