Reyer - that video is sweet.

Everyone else - I am not a fan of guns at all. I have no problem with hunting, law enforcement, etc., but I am not an advocate of handguns or guns in the house. I've had two friends killed because of handguns in the house.

OK Minty, what model are those...?

The first one _looks_ like a .45, but I could be wrong.

FWIW, when I was in the navy, I could not hit myself with the standard issue .45, but got a marksmanship medal on the 9mm. I also qualified for the sharpshooter medal on the m14 (217 if I remember right).

No firearms at the moment, but the SO just expressed an interest in going to the firing range to test fire a few different models of handguns and rifles. She is feeling the need for some home protection (besides the halberd above the door)

That pistol looks like a HK or S&W.
That AR is either a HK g36 or some variant of the hk51 series.

I'll bet you that pistol is .40S&W or .45ACP. If those are 9mm, that's a compact.

The "assalut rifle" is actually just an MP5 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heckler_&_Koch_MP5). The only difference with this one is it has a longer barrel and stock. For those that don't know, an MP5 is a .9mm sub-machine gun. It can be fired either semi or full auto, and they are fun as hell to fire.
