I am planning to put LEDs into the side of my case into pre-drilled holes, i have been thinking on what to power them with and i cannot come up with any ideas. Can anyone give me any ideas on what to power them with?

They are 3mm LEDs with a 12v resistor or a 5v resistor. Or better yet if someone can figure out how to power them without a resistor that would make this much cheaper.

Thanks

Welcome to TBCS.

You have some options. You'll need resistors either way. If you have a spare molex connector, you could run them off of that. The power and HDD activity LED's are both 3v, so you could just splice in there, and get your 3v.
