Newegg.

Short search for PCI-E USB cards, 3 weird brands, but I use StarTech stuff in my computer (USB1.0 card, DVI cable, modem, etc) and it works pretty well.

Another search, for PCI USB cards. 3 pages of choice ;)

i would only say they're better because they fit pci-e 1x slots. its not a commonly used slot, so it saves a pci slot for a physics or sound card. if you have an extra pci slot, i would say save yourself the cash and go for the pci solution.

theres also the option of just getting a hub. thats what i did for everything that doesn't rely on the speed of USB 2.0, like my mouse, keyboard, joystick, and gamepad. i plug all my high speed devices, camera, zen , etc. into the ports on the back. i got a cheap 4 port hub for like 10 bucks at walmart while picking up modding supplies, lol.

That could also be your solution. Some cheap USB hub for your low-speed devices, and you still have 3 more USB ports for all your high-speed needs (and more, if you have some in the front of your computer).

The only problem I have with my "old" USB card, is that sometimes it won't recognise devices jacked in it. So I just jump into device manager, click the OPTi USB driver, and look at the bandwidth display, so that it refreshes the ports. Note that it only does it to me not even once per week, and it'S an old card... But other than that, I never had problems with StarTech. I doubt that, with a newer chipset, sucha problem would happen.
