I am so pissed right now :mad:

I applied for Northbrook collage on the "National Diploma for IT Practitioners" which was my fav course out of all the ones i looked at around my area.


I just get this through the post saying "Im sorry to inform you blah blah blah"

Basically its saying because i have a bad report and my English and maths isn't *Predicted* Above grade B i m not even going to get and Interview

Assholes just because of what it says on paper ...they don't know me I probably know more about computers than there f***** tutor !!! or anyone else there for that matter :mad:

They're right about your English though, you can't even spell college...

It's unfortunate, as you could obviously do well on that particular course, but without the basic building blocks, you'll be lucky to get what you really want.

Way back in 76, I went to college to study technology. I didn't have the relevant English qualification, but my communication, spelling, grammar etc. were deemed 'acceptable' so they allowed me so long as I had studied English in my spare time, and re-sat the exam.

I failed it again, but still passed the technology course.

Lol when I was at college I did that course.

It was tight getting in though - not many places for alot of people that wanted to do it.

Don't worry there will be other things.

You can go to college and get your grades up a bit, then try again.

It's a shame, because for some people (me included) when you get the interview, that's you. Once i get face to face with these guys, i tend to project myself well. Did you apply through UCAS?
