hey guys i was wondering if anyone knew the pinout for the cables on the back of the casio gcmk-mix. it is an lcd screen from a gamecube lcd screen that i intended on using in a 5 1/4 inch bay. I accidently unplugged them, and i can't find the manual for the screen anywhere, not even on google!!! if anyone finds the pinout please tell me i would really appreciate it

has anyone ever used this screen before its from those intec gamecube things and i relle wanna get this thing running because the new micro center near my house is having a modding contest and im bringing my rig and it would be beast if i won the contest (250$) prize! and its on saturday (6.9.07) and since i have this thing laying around i relle wanna put it in but nowere and i mean nowere on google can i find the pinouts their used to be one site but its down now it was like cyber punk cafe.com

if anyone can help i would give a bazillion rep points lol plus ill take pics of the contest

Do you have a manual? Do you like to take risks?

1. Check the manual (if you have it).
2. Count the pins, look at the diagrams of the PS1 screens, and take a chance. If it dies, well, I guess you can't use it as a computer screen.

well i dont have the manual but thaier are 10 pins but im not great at soldering and i dont have a fine tip which scares me so i have to be sure

Don't solder them in the beginning then. Tape them down with electrical tape. Best advice I can give though... BE CAREFUL.

I FOUND IT I FOUND IT WHILE SEARCHING ON THE BIT TECH FORUMS IT TURNS OUT THERE WAS AN EXACT SAME SCREEN NAMED DIFFERENTLY ON MP3 CAR THAT HAS THE FULL TUT THANKS MALF!

so i actually made the molex connector to power it and i plugged it into my dads aintcient 2 x full 5 1/4 " (so 4 common day 5 1/4" bays) scsi external hard drive enclouse which i use a test psu and turned it on and the screan went on! sucess for the moent wish me luck

i truly must be my lucky day i forgot to mention that my old 939 system (real nice opty 1g of ddr 2 7600gt's dfi mobo) died about a month ago (rma'd the baord) didnt have another one and gave me 150 bucks instead so then with all of the money i saved from doing the shows at my school lightboards or sound (around 400$) im in av club so w/e i got a brand new am2 system with adual core brisbane 3600 and 4 gigs of ram on a evga 590 sli etc. instead of going for 2 gigs of ram and vista (which ill get for my bday) but i coudlnt get windows to load and 5 minutes ago i plopped in an ide drive crappy old 40 gig and windows loads

i am one happy camper
