I was sitting around bored, and was just thinking if there was anything cool do be done with window etching that hadnt really been done before.

How about taking 2 acryllic window sheets, and etching both in a clever manner to create a 3-d image?

Might be a ghetto way of doing it for those of us that dont have access to neat-o laser stuff.

Actually, this could pave the way to other ideas, like sticking stuff in between the panes....Ant Farm PC anyone? How about making your case window into a big watercooling resovoir?

You could have one image that you want to etch. Take different parts of the picture and etch it on different plexi pieces. Then use different colored LEDs to light each one up.

Oh, the big watercooling window reservoir was kinda done by Full Metal Modder.

u may run into heat issues if theres any air at all between the 2 panes, standing air=insulation

That won't be a problem if you have good airflow.

As was mentioned above ive seen a mod were a person wanted to light up an etching with two different colors. It looked pretty nice. I was thinking of trying it myself one of these days.
