This is fun (http://www.nandahome.com/products.clocky.html)...if you don't wake up after hitting the snooze button, this little bugger rolls off your night stand and runs away until you get up and turn it off

I could do with one of them!
Quite often it takes 3 or 4 goes to get me up. I hate waking up to alarms.

That's what I need. I have 4 alarm clocks and I still have trouble waking up on time.

What about a flying alarm clock (http://www.engadget.com/2007/01/26/buzzing-copter-inspired-blowfly-alarm-clock-goes-on-sale/)? :p It'll launch the propeller across the room and you have to replace it on the clock to turn off the alarm.

EDIT: Speaking of flying things, I so want to get this (http://www.engadget.com/2007/02/08/wowwees-flytech-dragonfly-now-shipping/).

OTOH, why not just have the clock far away, so that you have to get up anyway? Seems much simpler.

I had a room mate years ago that would sleep through an alarm clock while the rest of us in the house woke up pissed off. We went out one day and bought $100 worth of alarm clocks at the thrift store and set them to the correct time and alarm and proceeded to place them all over his room in various hidden spots. There must have been a couple of dozen alarm clocks all over his room. At the precise moment they started going off (within half a minute of each other). Took almost a full minute for him to realize what we had done, and another 20 minutes to find all the alarms. Some of them made quick exits out his window, some got smashed against the wall and door. Some he never found until the next day since the alarms timed out after 1 minute and they went off the next morning. We were laughing so hard we almost pissed our pants. We had his coffee ready and waiting for him when he got out of the shower... I wish I could say it never happened again, but he would still sleep through his alarm. I am surprised he did not lose his job because of how many times he was late.
