hey guys i just woke up about 5 minutes ago (8:30am est) and the first thing that hit me was: I'm going to be late! i run downstairs grab a pair of pants put them on then i look at my psp's clock ... 8:30 then it hits me. i look out the window and duh SNOW DAY!!! i then check the phone for a reverse 9-11 (school uses them to send messages to everyone in the town in unison) and sure enough its there! this is so kick ass and last night i thought were getting half an inch tops we got like 5 inches i remember the good olde' days when we got 4feet of this stuff i built tunnels and stuff all around my back yard it was sooooo cool

well anyway hows it like for u guys?

It is going to be a beautiful sunny warm day here in northern California! About time too since we have been getting lots of rain for the last week. I really do miss the snow days though. When I lived in Colorado, we had 4 or 5 a year! I do not however miss driving in or shoveling the snow unless it is for a board meeting...

I went to the Ren-Faire on Saturday and got sunburned.

I got more like an ice day. My car is frozen shut, and I can't go to work.I also got a school closure. For me, it's a day to stay inside and play Halo on Wiedergeboren.

Ya know whats sorda sad though, all of the roads were shoveled, salted and ready to drive on around 7:30 AM, 30 mins before schools starts. Hell, im not complaining though :rolleyes:

Plus I got out of school by powersliding/drifting/sliding (front wheel drive with e-brake and tire spinage..you figure that out) off the unplowed part of the parking lot onto the plowed exit lane. While avoiding the snowbank on my left and parked cars to my right (I was sure to be closer to the snow bank and not by the cars, I'm not stupid, just enjoy driving way too much).

Mitterncht, you play Halo PC? I didn't thnk anyone played that anymore. Rocket me an IM if you want to play online sometime, its hard to find anyone who even knows that it exists on the PC:p

reverse 9-11 is an automated phone system that takes everyones phone number in the town aand calls all of em at once and sends a pre recored message to everyone, the process repeats about 3 times besides ure not ignorant

I'm into Halo, but I'm not really into competition play. I'm the kind of guy that likes co-op 2-player better than 2 people killing each other. Is it possible to do a co-op over a LAN?

Oblivion is awesome. It's easy to sink a few hundred hours alone into that game and a couple of expansions.

Well it's our turn, here in Montreal. We received 18 inches of snow. It started after lunch yesterday, and ended during the night. No school/work closed; 18 inches is not enough here... :(
