Superman Case Mod

After a lot of planning I'm finally ready to start posting my progress on my first case mod. I really liked the locking case but it's going to require a LOT of modification.......I'll post pics later of the work Ive done so far........Rob

Sorry about the lack of updates guys, work has been CRAZY lately......the gf is coming over tonight with her digital camera and I'll have pics of what Ive done as soon as I can figure out how to upload them.
So far Ive concentrated on the front panel of the case, I removed that ugly black mesh in the center of the panel and replaced it with styrene, then added a 3-d superman symbol also made from styrene and continued the look with a couple of "v"s down the center and just below the symbol.
The old hinges were REALLY flimsy so I removed them and plan on replacing them with a slim piano hinge painted to match the case.
Just to give you rough idea of what its starting to look like before i upload pics I'm including a sketch-up done in paint so please forgive my poor rendering skills.

If you had semi opaque yellow plexi for the logo, you could back light it. Just an idea.

and M@X@ CASE, no need to change your idea. Hopefully you settled on an idea because you liked it, rather than it's uniqueness. There is plenty of scope within the superman theme, I'm sure there's something else you can do.

I have plexi on wait. Complete Superman logo. Blue plexi, with red and yellow parts combined into Superman logo. Great thing, but now, it won't be unique. I have a great case now, that needs a theme. Since it is black I am thinking of 2 mods. SPAWN mod, or GHOST RIDER mod. I just need a few HI RES pics to get from the net, and i will decide whitch one to do. The case is ment to be modded. I shall open a new thread when I decide, so you can see my progres
