I might be getting my hands on two Pentium class computers--one is an IBM Aptiva and the other is a Compaq Presario--both currently running first generation Pentium's.

Not too sure what I want to do with either of these. If I decide to go whole hog a la Paul Capello, I might do a Fallout (one of the greatest series ever made imo) mod.

Ideas, suggestions, flames are all welcome!

Get a Wrist Rocket and see how far the processors can fly. :p

I don't know anything about this kind of stuff, but maybe you could link them together and run a ?cluster? That might be kind of cool, especially for a server. I think how they can work is, if one fails, then the other one takes the responsibility so you won't have any server down time. ...I think.

Are they ATX? Do a sleeper mod, like mine. New innards in an old case.

It's been so long since I've opened either of these I can't remember.

But I'm pretty sure that they are ATX.

If not, I'll make em ATX...mwhahahaha!

You could actually mod both of them to be media clients, setup a wifi network in your house and use both of them attached to TV's to stream mp3's divx etc around your house, would make a pretty sweet home entertainment system (obviously it would also have internet access)
