Well, despite what the calendar says, today is my birthday. At my age, you don't get a plethora of gifts, but from my sister and her husband I got this (http://www.lotechdesigns.com/host/images/7862memorystick.jpg) which I think is extremely cool. It's rather small, as you'll see from the number on it, so it's more a novelty rather than a practical thing.
Still, it's cool and was a complete surprise, and that's what counts.
In other news:
Among my cards was a job offer.

My wife turned 32 recently. we were discussing a cake, and I suggested putting six candles and just lighting the first one.
Nobody understood it...

I just wish it were bigger than 256MB. But what the hell, I have a bigger one if I need it. The twig is just cool.
Before I got it, I was thinking about getting a Halloween monster hand thing, cutting off the thumb, and housing my current thumbdrive (geddit?) in it.
Hell, I might still do that.

I thought maybe if you plant it it will grow bigger and maybe in a few years you would have a 40Gb Memory Tree.

Yeah, but if the connector grows with it, I'll need to use the parallel port.

Happy Birthday and congrats on the job offer!
Only geeks would use binary to represent their age..
Other geeks are the only ones who would understand it.

Eh... i should know binary but I'm lazy and cant really do it in my head. I just learned it my senior year in computer math... i still have to write it down on paper to convert it and i think i forgot how.
Happy Birthday man!!!
