Right, I got a plan.
I have every intention of seeing this through, but I have a terrible attention span, next to no money, and zero skill. I thought I'd put it here for some feedback, before I get stuck in.
The idea is to on the side of the case have it look like someone is trying to get out, like in freddy krueger (see the pic)

Since I got absolutely no skill at all, the plan involves a bit of fibreglass/plaster of paris casting. This is the plan, if anyone has a better way of achieving this, please let me know.
I hope this makes sense...
I plan to get me some of these polystyrene mannequin heads -

Couldn't find one with an open 'screaming' mouth.
Then I'll attach it to a sort of frame and stretch material over it to get the 'stretching through' look and stick it in a big lump of wet plaster in a box... can you tell I'm not a sculptor?
The end result in theory should be a female plaster cast that I can lay fibreglass into to make the majority of the new side panel. Then stick (bond?) it onto the side, finish and paint, stick in a couple of lights behind the eyes and there we go, freaky side panel.
I also wanna put the top half of a head on the 'roof' of the case, looking like it's maybe surfacing from water or something.
This idea is nothing like solid yet, but I hope you get the general idea.
Heres some images I used as inspiration ...

Well cool, but unsure how to implement it.

Any ideas, suggestions or questions?
