does any one know of a program that i could use for creating a animated logo for videos and stuff.
i have seen some people on youtube with special customized logos, but i havent been able to find a program.

There used to be a tutorial for making something simular to the newline cinama logo using a program in my bookmarks but it appears to have disspeared But il have a look around see if I can find it again.

If you can create the individual frames, then making an animated GIF is simple.

Well, there are two stages. First you have to generate the frames, as individual files, then you have to assemble them into an animated GIF.
Use whatever graphics program you like to make each slide. You can use Gimp to make the animation itself.
I would have suggested gif construction set (http://www.mindworkshop.com/alchemy/gifcon.html) but it doesn't seem to be shareware any more.
Edit, I may be wrong there, check the download (http://www.mindworkshop.com/alchemy/gifcon.html#download) link.
To make the above one, I used povray to generate the slides, and imagemagick to animate them. povray is available for Windows, but I think imagemagick is only linux.

what about using flash?Not everyone has flash. If Reyer just wants to make an animated logo, then a GIF is the best option.
Can you post a flash animation in here, just for comparison? ;)
