Hey, just wondering about how fast my dremel needs to be to cut through my case, the maximum it goes is 10,000RPM :(
Thanks

Normally with steel, faster is better.
With plastic, too fast will melt the plasic back together just after the cut.

When cutting metals, I use a heavy duty cutting wheel, but the speed depends on the metal. I have the XP-400 Dremel and I use the settings from 8-9 for aluminum, and for steel, 8.5-10 depending on the thickness. Go slow and don't force it. Keep a steady hand and be carefull for skipping. Practice on some scraps before you go for your case.
