At first I thought this was really lame, but as I scrolled through it I started to like it more and more. It kind of reminds me of that one game, whats it called? Telephone? Where one person says something and you pass it along until you reach the end and see what the last person says and how much different or similar it is to the original line. Anyways, I just thought this was awesome-tacular and worth sharing with you guys.

According to the source code, it's 119 pictures. But how it seems to blend into one after the other, it still looks cool.

That's because each picture is designed to blend in with the previous one.
The boundaries of each picture are shown below it.

I guess, therefore, that only one contributor can add a picture at one time.

There is a "waiting list" for people who would like to contribute. It's quite simple and very easy to get on this list, just read the sign up page for all the details and information. ^_^

I'm not artistic enough. Is there a time limit for submissions? Even if you know you're next, you won't know where to start from. So it could take ages.

You just have to be "there" when your turn comes, or they will skip you. They let you know when your turn will be and I would only assume that they give you a decent amount of time to create your addition.
