Since we're on the topic of animated images I think I will take this time to remind members that animated gif's in signitures are not allowed in the current set of rules.


Signature Size Limits:
All signatures should not exceed the following size limits; For text signatures: 4 lines normal size, 8 lines small size and up to 500 chars total. Font sizes above 2 are not allowed. (Blank lines count as lines.) You CAN have images, limited to 400x150 pixels in size. Images containing pornographic, lewd or objectional material will result in your immediate expulsion from these forums--now and forever throughout the known universe. Only static images are allowed.If we find anything winky, blinky or otherwise animated (gifs, flash, etc) you will be drawn and quartered. That means kicked off the forums forever.

Did you make that with Film Gimp? Or what did you use?I used povray (http://www.povray.org) to make the frames, then animated it with Gimp.

The reason aminated gif's aren't allowed in sigs is simply because Crimson doesn't want this site to look like some teenage mySpace.

Or load like one... or in most cases, not load. Imagine waiting five minutes just to see a reply on this site, man... I even have DSL and some of those pages take a while to load, and then they lag even once they're loaded. You can see the specs of my PC in my sig, tell me that's not just ridiculous.
