Hello all,
Since I am almost completely out of cash I can only do small mods on cheap stuff. So I will mod my TI-83+
Things I will do:
-Paint it
-Overclock it (maybe, I don't have transistors or a switch)
-Backlighting
-Add plexiglass windows
-Add lighting on the inside
Can anyone tell me where I can get switches?

Anywhere... any standard small switches will fit.

Hello all,
I am doing sketches and I will post them soon, about next week the parts should arrive and I will begin work in the NH Teknik labs (Will's house).
On http://mcmaster.com there are slide infrared switches with 6" wire leads... Would they work as switches?
Slide Switch Panel-Mount Style, Dpdt, 6 Amps, 6" Wire Leads
For lighting... I want to do blue lighting. Should I
A) Install blue EL wire in the window molding
B) Install blue LED's inside the calculator
Which one would look better? Also, I'm having trouble finding clear window molding. (Can anyone help me?)
I'm also installing transluscent vinyls on the windows :D
Those are always fun...
The calculator will be painted dark and light blue, but I'm unsure how I'll paint the front. Any ideas?

Here's an example (http://www.cemetech.net/news.php?290) of a backlit one and the backlight can change colors
