hey...
so the other day i got really mad at my computer to the point of where I wanted to throw it in the garbage...then it hit me! Why not make it look like a garbage can! You know get the point out to my parents that my computer sucks and I want a new one.So I got an old garbage can and cleaned it out(very sticky and smelly!)
1.First I hollowed out my computer so there was Nothing in it anymore...i practiced putting it together and then apart again so I knew where everything goes and attaches to the motherboard.
2.I put everything in the garbage can getting a rough idea of where i wanted it all to stay.I tweaked it a little bit until i liked where it all was.
3.i marked the spots of where everything was and used one of those exact-o-knife things (where you push the button up and a blade comes out of the handle) to cut everything out.
4.then i put everything in...checked to see for the fits and it was perfect!
I hooked everything up and took some snapshots...

The garbage can lid was mauled by raccoons so i threw it out so I'm making a transparent plastic cover for it...Oh one more thing I'm a 13 year old boy...
=D
LOL, love it.
Bloody marvellous.
+rep for being a nutcase.

Oh, man... that's something I should've done, heh heh... I'ma give you rep for the same reason as Drew, and for the fact that that's awesome, and hilarious... you could almost put some sort of cover over where the PC components are, give it enough support to hold some things, and maybe make it into a drawer chest or something like that too...

@SnowFire:
lol the mouse i spread some white and blue paint over...then covered in super glue for a smooth feeling...XD
@ajutz21:
That is what i was going to do...I was going to divide the can in have and put the aluminum siding of the original frame in the middle and put the monitor on it...but decide not to =D thx for the rep!
@Omega:
thx! I am a person of smarts!(and of about 3 failing subjects stupidity!)
@Nick_Black:

ok hate to point out bad things in a ingenious mod..... but for one.... what about grounding issues??? ya know those lil screw holes in a mobo tend to be used for grounding things..... another note.... ur motherboard is like half an inch or less away from the carpet... and if i remember well enuff..... carpet and computers RLY dont like each other...... especial with a lack of grounding....... dude i give ya total credit for doing a awsome mod..... but ya may want to think about the safety of ur components...:P

CHIMAERA, if anything, pointing out the bad things in a mod helps the modder know what he/she can do to improve it, most likely keeping it from dying in a not-so-fun way. If anything, constructive criticism is quite helpful, unlike the criticism I recieve on whatever I do, no matter how successful or much of a failure it is...

Hehe Basura Blanco....
+rep for a great idea...
Awwwwwwwwwwwwww @ ajutz21...
Bless....
:edit: I have no idea why I made this completely random post.
I don't remember posting it but It was posted at about the time my Linux issues started... and I wasn't getting much sleep (bad toothache too) so I must have been in some kind of stupor.
Sorry.

...and what might that mean, Drew?

lol...
@CHIMAERA:
mmk well I for one dont think its going to set the carpet on fire...(or worse melt the garbage can!)it may get a little hot but hasnt done any harm....yet...
it does get hot but the plastic on a garbage can is pretty thick and i think it can withstand the heat...

Man thats nutty, and great. I hope your parents do get the point =)
I think that the point @CHIMAERA was getting to wasnt so much the heat issue but the Static electricity from the carpet. Granted your in a rubberized container but the Mobois sticking out very close to the carpet area.
Once again I love the idea, just dont want to see your existing system get zapped.

That's funny, put a cover over the computer stuff and a trash bag in it and it serves double use.
As for getting a better computer try looking for something that is only a year old. Many people get high end machines and sell them cheap in a year for the next upgrade. Check the classifieds. I scored a nice Dell XPS about 4 years ago that was listed in my local paper. It won't be the best but if you are 13 and strapped for cash it is a good bet.
what a garbage LOL
great imagination good work

yeah.. about your sig thingy there is a size limit rule (though it's not too strictly enforced)
All signatures should not exceed the following size limits; For text signatures: 4 lines normal size, 8 lines small size and up to 500 chars total. Font sizes above 2 are not allowed. (Blank lines count as lines.) You CAN have images, limited to 400x150 pixels in size. Images containing pornographic, lewd or objectional material will result in your immediate expulsion from these forums--now and forever throughout the known universe. Only static images are allowed.If we find anything winky, blinky or otherwise animated (gifs, flash, etc) you will be drawn and quartered. That means kicked off the forums forever.
you could try a sig like this:

(sorry, it's not too great, it's just a quick sketchup, you may use it if you want to. but you could prob. do better...)
Edit: oops.. I forgot to draw the arrow too... oh well.. u can fix that..
