Hey guys. I'm looking to format my flash drive. Last time i formated it i formated on a mac and my windows PC cant read it. I know this is a dumb question but were is the utility that i would use to format this thing? I cant find anything in the control panel. It's probably right in front of me but i cant seem to find it. Thanks for the help guys.

P.S. Just thought i should mention that i'm running XP.

right click on "my computer"
hit "manage"
go to "disk management" under "storage"
It'll show you a list of drives.
Right-click on the flash drive
Click "format"

The rest is up to you.

well the easiest way i know how is just plug in the flash drive and when it gets recognized, if it does. open mycomputer, find the drive and right click it and hit format. it should work, but i'm not sure since its been mac'a'tized (new word?).

Scoped out your method today and ill keep that in mind for future formats. OS X didn't screw it up or anything it was just formated with a file system that windows couldn't recognize. I changed it to fat32 so i should be able to use it on both computers now.

Thanks for the help guys
