There's the new Intel roadmap. It outlines Intel's plans for dual-core CPUs and there "next-next generation" CPUs. Very interesting read.

There should be an AMD roadmap pretty soon.

Well, I won't be buying Intel very soon; I plan on getting my new workshop/rig next week, since I'm... moving... jeeze, that's about the millionth time :p :rolleyes: I'm getting along with my current rig, though.

Here's a preview of my new rig:

Oh, and the leadtek 6600GT is definitely the way to go. It is what I have and it is very nice

get OCZ, my friend had Rosewill and its crap. also get 800XL, it will OWN 6600GT. i have its and love it

are you sure abou tthe XL? I thought the XT and the pro were the only ones that could outperform the 6600gt. Especially if you get the extreme edition from leadtek
