i was thinking of making a external usb firewire audio port out of a snes cartrige
it would be sweet for someone with a SNES pc mod or a SNES mouse mod

Nice one! Maybe you could even make a slot in the front of your computer case so that you put the cartridge in it and it does just like a SNes loader, except it would be housing an USB hub with audio and firewire jacks... :)

With a bonus, you would keep the cartridge working for the SNES (except it would have useless USB, audio and firewire jacks in it... unless you plan to put your SNES in your computer case. xD)

Im indeed interested on how it's gonna turn...

I think it would be better, if you took the SNES console and put your comp in it (I was gonna do that) Then put a flash drive or something USB oriented in the game case, then put the USB hub inside the game insert place in the console, then you could plug in the games for your usb things.

Edit: Aww, didnt see Nagoshi's post, mine is a bit different though :)
