firefox hates me

well..... wonderful thing happened last night........ computer overheated.... kinda saw it comming too...... room was getting rather warm..... right in the middle of a awsome match in CS:S was totaly PWN'n but yeahz...
so... the comp crashes.... and wont boot.... ive had this happen b4.... old news..... but when i reboot...... the partition or something is FKed....... i do the check disk and god damn there is alot errors.....
everything boots after fine fast and ready.... looks good..... but then i open firefox to come here...
now firefox wont see any JPGs BMPs or GIFs
comes up as broken image..tried reinstalling... tried debuggin..... nothing worked...... so now im stuck with IE :'(

go to start, run, type in regedit and hit ok.

Look through your software keys till you find any related to firefox and delete them. Now delete firefox from your drive manually. You should now be able to re-install firefox with a blank slate. If you still have issues after this then it's something else.
