I've been only using Skethup for about 2 weeks now so I've still got a lot of stuff to learn. My current problem is I would like to make a fang but would like to know if there is an easy way to do this.

I've used the FollowMe tool but & then tried to scale down the other end to a point but then I have select each & every segment & scale those down. This is a huge time consumer & would like to speed this up.

As you can see it still doesn't look like a fang.

Reminds me more of a bent solid rocket booster from the space shuttle. Try making the fangs more tapered through the whole thing. Here's a google image search for fangs:

I'm trying to make a snake fang so it's got to be long & curved like the ones pictured here. I know I can tapper each segment but is there a faster way to do it?

I'm stumped on this one. I thought it would be easy. Been playing around and searching google for about an hour, and I can't figure it out. Anyone else want to have a stab at it?

Here is what I come up with when I turn on the Hidden Geometry in the View Menu and select each axes point and then scale them down individually.

As you can see I do get the look of a fang but it took a lot of play to make it look smooth like this. There has got to be an easier way, there's just got to be.

Im not sure how much this will help, but it details how to use the follow me tool as a lathe.

Id like to say, i feel your pain. i have so much trouble with sketch up. I can never get anything to work the way i want. I probably just need more practice.
