Hey all. I know I haven't been posting as much as I normal as I have been busy with university. But I thought I should take a breather and post this. Let me introducer the GeminII

http://www.coolermaster.com/index.php?LT=english&Language_s=2&url_place=product&p_serial=RR-CCH-ANU2-GP&other_title=0

This is one bad ass heat sink. It ways 847g is made of copper and can have to 120mm fans bolted to it. Not only does it cool the CPU but it helps to cool the ram and the rest of the board (some how).

Here is a review that really gives you an Idea of the size of this thing and the performance. http://www.hardwarelogic.com/news/62/ARTICLE/1355/6/2007-03-08.html

HUGE!

Those two 120mm fans are the actual heatsink cooler.

Very big.

That is f*cking incredible.

I'm damn well impressed with that product. It's ludicrous, large, and silly. If i can find the time, i'll definately see if i can get CoolerMaster to send us one, maybe for a competition or a review. :) (although we need to move the prizes we currently have first...)

Geesh! Why not make the entire side panel of your case a heatsink?

...actually that might be kind of cool. lol

Sweet find simon275, I'll give you a dollar if you can fit it into a HTPC case without modding. :p

847 grams though?? Thats pretty darn heavy! wait...

Whoo hoo! My Blue Orb II weighs more! I am the heavy weight champion! :p

Blue Orb II - 869 grams = 1.9 pounds

CoolerMaster GeminII = 847 grams = 1.8 pounds

My fun fact for the Blue Orb II - With a 2.8P4 it stays cool to the touch. After about 24 hours of use, it starts to get slightly warm. Now that is "cool"!

**I should probably add that the only thing separating my case from the outside world is a piece of 22 guage steel mesh. :)

No offense or anything but I already posted this (http://www.thebestcasescenario.com/forum/showthread.php?t=6384).

This kind of situation happens from time to time. It's always a good thing to use the search forums function at the top of the site before posting new threads. But most of us are rather lazy and if we haven't seen something we'll post it. ^_^

Your thread didn't get much attention, so its okay that it was posted twice. It's only troublesome when someone posts a thread that is already somewhere else on the forums and that has 2 or 3 pages worth of replies.

My bad I forget to do a search. I normally do one if a duplicate exists I will post in their thread.

It would be cool would it be to integrate it into the side panel of a case so it sits flush.

That's OK, it's probably more my fault for giving the thread a dumb name instead of the product name.

If there was a thread with the exact same name as this, do you think would vBulletin let you post it?...

Just curious, how many posts per page do you have it set on? My settings say 40 posts per page.
