There have been a lot of "new translations" of the number of the beast. Some say it's 616, some say it's 696, I say it's the good ol' "666" that most people can agree on.

Well, i did some research into the number of the beast. There seems to be a lot of fluxuation in what it is and what it means.

My take on the number...
More often than not, it seems to point to commerce & currency. I feel that the number identifies currency as the devils means to an end. "Money Is The Root Of All Evil"

So whenever you read Revelation, most of the numbers are multiples of those few single digit numbers--others are just numbers repeated for emphasis, such as 666--you repeat the number 6 and it means 'ultimate evil'.

That has always been there. The image for the header is only a bit wider than the logo (highlight with mouse and you will see). vBulletin auto repeats it to fill the browser window so you are seeing a pattern--never noticed it looks like 6's until now.

you can get an extention for firefox that lets you open a IE tab inside firefox:up:
