Can anyone make this photo larger without distortion? I need it as big as possible, but under 50MB. Kinko's is being a little pain in my arse right now and their computers suck hardcore so they can't do what we want them to do. Like rasterbation.

TIA! This really helps me out alot!

Did I miss something? lol Let me guess... you can't blow up pictures really big without distorting them??

You can totally rasterbate that shot.
It's already grainy, resizing would make it look worse pretty quickly.

Well we tried to rasterbate it, but their computers couldn't load the file. lol

So we decided to blow it up and make one huge damn poster instead. But when they blow it up... we don't want it to lose anymore visual, even though we kind of like the grainy look that it has. That was the biggest pic we could find on google too...

Sorry I can't help with the poster problem but I love this movie. Did you catch the deleted scene when their mom calls them on the phone? That's the funniest scene in any movie I've seen in a long time.

The raster is in PDF format, how do we separate the images?

Separate the images?
What do you mean?

And even slow, craptastic boxes should be able to render a graphical pdf.

When I rasterbate an image, it goes into a PDF format... which is all in one file. Like an E-Book but with pictures.

OH GOODIE! You can't separate pages unless you have pro... Which is almost $500 smackers!

LOL oh man... software costs so much its crazy!

Whilst I appreciate that it's cool to make something yourself, if you just want a poster why not try ebaY (http://entertainment-memorabilia.search.ebay.com/boondock_Posters_W0QQcatrefZC12QQfromZR40QQsacatZ1 8828)?

Or, how about deliberately dithering it? I was in a restaurant recently, they had some large posters which were really low quality.
Imagine older newspaper pictures. Look really close and they're just dots. Imagine those dots about 1" diameter, fading toward the edges. That was the effect, and they looked really good. Simple pictures, just a girl in a red dress, but the effect was really nice.

We've already looked at poster stores and the such but we can't find anything in our size. Its a pretty good size wall. We need it... maybe 7-8' in hight.

But I think we have solved the issue with the rasterbator. We'll see though.

It's not necessary to separate the images inside the pdf document. They're in order for a reason.
Trust me, if you get them out of order it's like a big puzzle. A big pain in the ass puzzle.

Dithering is exactly what rasterbator does, just on a large scale.

If you use a little math, you can make a poster up to a few stories tall.
Food for thought.

I've resized the image to 10160 x 11904. I added a few filters to clean it up a bit. File size is 15.3mb in jpeg format.

At thoes resolutions its hard to see the "big picture". Im fairly sertin that it looks just as good as the original.

How do you want me to send you the file? Do you have MSN msgr?

[edit]
I worked a little mojo magic and bumped up the resolution to 20320 x 23808 without major pixelation or distortion. File size is now a massive 40.2mb. I saved the previous file aswell, maybe you'll be able to pick out the best one.
