OK peoples. MY setup: Intel 3.2 GhZ hyper-thread on a 925XCV Board. Also running a ATI X1800 GTO video card. My power supply is 580 watts.
My main problem is my video card, It overheats pretty bad with games. now I have it well ventilated. But still the stock fan is loud and doesnt keep it cool during multiple hours running with higher loads.

I was thinking of going with the ARCTIC COOLING Accelero X2 or the Zalman VC9. any other options that work better (other than liquid cooling)

Also I wanted to swap out my CPU heatsink its an LGA 775... any ideas there?? I dont really overclock my cpu but perhaps a little bit in the future.

I like these, they have some nice reviews too.

CPU Cooler (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835118223)

GPU Cooler (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835118001)

I don't have a graphics card at the moment, but I do have a Thermaltake Blue Orb (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835106069) for my CPU. I don't know how well it works in a closed case, but for my 2.8P4 in an open case it cools fantastically. It rarely even gets warm, most of the time it is literally cool to the touch. I can't wait until I put a fan into my mesh'd side panel directly over the Blue Orb. Just for the hell of it. :P

For a good roundup check out some of the coolers talked about in this thread.

Blue Orb is very nice, I have one too. Keeps my CPU nice and cool.

I like that GPU cooler too.

Awsome deal everyone. Looks like most of my research and your help is pointing me to Zalman for good performance w/o a high cost. I'll be posting pics soon of my setup My other question leads towards the Fanmate controller Zalmans come with... Do you really need it or will my multifunction panel take care of that?

If your multipanel has a fan controller that works with whatever cooler you hook it up to... I don't really see a point in having the ZFanmate. But if the Zalman coolers come with their Fanmates, then just use whichever works best for you.
