The last computer that I got a hold of from a fire I parted out. Now I'll be working on one that's a little more personal.

A kid in my Web Design class, Zeke, is into computers and emulators. He's 6'10", and he's only 15. lol Well, unfortunately, last week his house burned down. He brought in his dell and we were on it like fat women on a pizza. It's mainly smoke damage. Today, we got the drives pretty clean, but the smoke smell still lingers. We got suggestions to use baking soda and Febreze. I used cotton swabs and Isopropyl alcohol to clean the metal motherboard tray and the motherboard. It's a hell of a sight better. The only hard part is to clean the case. We gotta figure out how to take it apart; of course it's dell. They have some complicated ass parts in their computers.

Well, I'll try to get some pictures of it tomorrow. I think it'll turn out ok.

Watch out when you are pulling the dell apart as they have plastic catches and stuff which can snap.
