I'm trying to move the piece on the top, to the left and down, just a little bit, to attach it to the bottom piece (ignore the pice on the left). But whenever I go to move it, it just goes too far and I can't make it move any less. Is there anyway I can just nudge it a little?

it seems to me theres a snap-to option. its been a while since ive used sketchup though. take a look for it anyways. mine just automatically snaps to an edge sometimes... other times you have to try once or twice to make the program understand what you want to do.

I think I've figure out what to do. on the part I want to move, if I make sure the cursor is on the midpoint of it, and then move it to the midpoint of the other object, it'll snap right to it.
