Well...I had created the cage for my backpack mod when my brother said "This would make a sweet ghostbusters back pack...

My question to you, is should i make this backpack mod? or a ghostbusters themed mod?

Ghostbusters rule.

If thats what you want to do, then do it. If not, then don't.

Agreed. But Ghostbusters gets my vote.

Fir3ball made a gun from UT for his UT2007 mod (http://www.thebestcasescenario.com/forum/showthread.php?t=5372), that might help you get some ideas about your case. Go for it dude. :)

what if you, like, modded a pen-mouse into the end of the gun thing so you could use your "beam" to control your pointer?

You just wont be happy until: "...Each of us is walking around with an unlicensed nuclear accelerator strapped to his back." I think the ghostbusters pack is a great idea. If you go with that you should get some audio of that high pitched electrical hum that accompanies the 'powering up'.

lol, thats like...one of the first things i made sure to implement in my design process....lol

Here some links im going to take some designs from. (Replica prop builders)

It would seem that stefans instructions are blueprints...I will most likely head that direction.

Hmm...Are you going to add a NAS to this system? If so, I'd suggest that it be in the form of this (http://www.gbprops.com/plans/stefan_trap/).
