Vacation

My parents decided last week to go on a vacation over spring break. So naturally, we drove 6 hours to Washington, D.C. to go do "the works" (buildings, tours, etc.). Now I'm in good ol' Asheville, N.C. to drive the mountains and visit the Biltmore Estate. Pics will be posted soon (have to transfer the pics, host them, and size them on a laptop :p).

I used to work on Fairfax Dr in Arlington. Lived in Alexandria near Ft Belvoir. DC's a nice place to visit, but the traffic and cost of living suck.

They had a TANK? Wow... I bet they're paranoid about security, even back then when you didn't get kicked out of school for saying something dumb, and then it being skewed to where you sound like a homicidal maniac, even if what you said wasn't inferring any kind of violence whatsoever...

Sorry, it's just been annoying me lately, and I'll try to keep from annoying you guys with it... I had Horticulture and Ceramics, which I am missing quite a bit right now... need to find another way to express my creativity... unfortunately it can't involve modding, or my parents will get peeved.

Visited the Biltmore house yesterday. That place is FRIGGIN HUGE! There are some 130 rooms, courtyard, 3 gardens, and mostly everything is made of stone to resemble Roman architecture. They have their own winery, village, farm, and greenhouse. The only thing was it was very cold when we were there (temps as low as 28 degrees Fahrenheit) and the winds were up to 40 mph. Afterwards, we went to a bigass arcade w/ two gokart tracks, laser tag, mini golf, etc. Now I'm in the hotel room ready to head back home in about an hour :p
