Aloha, you may have seen me asking about my case as I'm building a new comp, and now I'm asking about my graphics card. Sawwy about this.

You'd be much better off goin with the XFX. I MUCH prefer XFX over bfg anyday anyway. Better quality anyway. and the XFX card is clocked higher stock, and will overclock on top of that. im not quite sure about the bfg card and overclocking, but.. i cant stand the fact that they sell their cards "overclocked" like that is supposed to be some key selling feature.

so.. XFX would be my choice. i just bought that exact card for a build i did for my fiances brother. It kicks a$$, and it comes with advance warfighter, which is a great game if you like squad based fps.

personally i upgraded to the 640 version, much better for only 100 more on avg some are 70 more, i got a pre overclocked one, i'd keep looking. look on newegg they're running a lot of package deals with the 320 version.

I'm actually English, just wanted to make it easier for the Americans to answer me... I'm at the absolute peak of my budget getting a 320, so I don't think I'm gonna go for the 640...

As for my budget... What I've got all setup is £966, That's with a E6600, 2GB Corsair, 680i XFX LT... I know this is the wrong bit but is that a decent board?

I think the board will suit you fine. Its got the latest chipset so its future proof. Good specs, HD Audio, 1333fsb, ect.

I think if you buy both xfx products, you will see slightly more performance over a mixed and matched mobo/gpu combo.

You should have a mighty powerful rig with thoes components. :)

NOOO lol i was going to get that board but there's a waybetter board with less of the 680i bugs from abit in9 32x max, its around 300 but well worth it especially if you're overclocking im runing a 6600 at 3.150 GHZ right now!!!!!!!

warning extreme heat will ensue, im peaking at 62 right now

im running a e6400 at 3.2ghz, max load temp 44c and idle's at 35 with .1 added to stock voltage on my asus p5n32-e sli plus board. thats a 650i and nforce 570 frankenstein chipset. so.. that o'c is good, but.. not the best. the asus board is around 250 cad now.. so.. i think thats a bit better choice, considering it uses a asus striker pcb, just minus some bells and whistles, like a post lcd
and stuff.

NOTE: 640mb will actually only gain you better fps at very high resolutions at the moment, so.. probably wont benefit you all that much if you only support a 1440x900 res or less anyway.

probably, cause im usually hearing that with a decent chipset (and i know that abit board kicks a$$, i personally would love to get one) you barely need to raise voltage at all on a c2d. try lowering it a bit, checking stability, and keep going down till you start to get instability issues. cause 62C on an artic freezer 7 pro is HOT!! i honestly cant see why you cant get it down to 50ish full load with good stability.
