 Ok so I have finally decided to give real modding a try. I've built a handful of other systems...really just putting a bunch of parts together, but I've never really modding anything.
I've acquired an old POS Micron PC ClientPro midtower case from a guy at work...I spent way too much time sanding/priming/painting the case (pics to come soon) but now I'm sort of stuck.
First of all, I think it was a little cold when I did the initial painting...most of the case came out great...not all of it though...but I say screw it...I'm going to slap the clearcoat on and hope for the best. The real reason is my wife will eat my sould if I spend one more penny on spraypaint :D

My problem is that there are no pre-drilled holes for regular ATX motherboards. They have their built in standoffs that of course dont match up with anything other than the POS MOBO that came with the thing. Is there a template out there that can be used to determine where holes need to be drilled for a standard ATX MOBO? Also, when drilling, does a special bit need to be used so that I am able to screw standoffs into the holes I just drilled? Thanks guys!!

What you could do is find a piece of scrap metal (or use the current mobo try). Lay your mobo down on it and dot all the holes. The Drill them out with a regular bit. I believe you can find the stand offs that are held on with a nut on the back so theres no need to thread the hole.

I'm going to move this over to the works in progress thread
