Well, I've got my next project lined up for after my laptop!

I'm going to take one of these (http://www.starwarsmodels.com/stardf.html), and put a pc in it! Probably ITX, but anyway...

Some pics:

I'm gonna get one off of ebay, 'cause they don't make them anymore.

I may have to get the non fiber optic version (http://www.starwarsmodels.com/stard.html).

Should be interesting... :santa:

You can use THIS (http://www.overclockers.com.au/~bluesmurf/)for inspiration. Scratchbuilt. Taking years. amazing.

Heh, goes to show ya that no idea is original anymore. :D

I might change to a Death Star just to be different, but with putting mine in a pre-built Destroyer, it might be different enough, no?

Every good idea is built on the foundation of another. ;) Let it encourage and inspire you!

From that dude's website:

Sorry for the failure to get an update and some work done. For those who remember the entry earlier on this page about me getting married, well this is the one announcing that I'm getting divorced. :( Hang in there.

Marry a Star Wars buff at your peril. ;)

Well, guess who just got a Star Destroyer?

Can't blow up any ships with it, but nonetheless! :santa:

I got one of the kind that already has stuff for doing the fiber optics, so I just need to build it, mostly.

I've got an ITX board picked out, but I don't want to buy it until I know whether it'll fit inside of the Destroyer.

If it doesn't, I may have to find a Nano-ITX, or go with a Death Star after all.

More to come!

(When I get it, I guess I should start another worklog...)

This is what we like to call obsessive compulsive but awesome. I ran across this a while back. I thought it was pretty funny.

Oops, sorry for the huge pic. I know it stretches the forum out. Delete it if you need to.
