For those that haven't seen it...this (http://steampunkworkshop.com/keyboard.shtml) is pretty sweet.

Kewl! The Keyboard. Thats what I haven't seen with any real mods. Hummmn..
I Suppose I will make the underwater keyboard. God knows it needs cooling.

Pretty cool... if that style/design caught on, I could see one of those on every high ranking corporate official's desk, heh heh, with matching monitor and all...

Cool find. That guy must not leave his house though. That must have taken forever.

I'd be willing to part with $200-$300 for a keyboard like that. What about you guys?

This was absolutely great!

Periferal modding definately needs more attention. I have a few ideas I should work on.

That's really cool, but after all that work he left the spacebar the same? What the hell's the point if you simply leave the spacebar after all that work?

I think his ideas are pretty cool, but the fit and finish with the keyboard is not great. The felt backing under the keys is a sure sign of this. I would have went for a sheet of brass, since that seems to be his fave material.

Sweet idea, but...

It looks nice in the pictures but that felt backing has to look strange. Why not cut off those extra posts instead of leaving them there? it just seems like he went through so much trouble with the brass and keys and kinda skimped on the keyboard part..

Very interesting mod. I agree with the last couple of comments, that after all his hard work on the main buttons he should of taken the time and put just a little more detail into the final piece. I don't really like the white labels and felt cover. I like the overall unique idea but I feel he could of done more.

I seen this before on MAKE:

I think he also made another steampunk themed PC part.
